SCOREKEEPING INSTRUCTIONS

Scores are input at this URL: Your first task will be to add the teams that are in your league. Check to see if the teams have been added previously by selecting REVIEW STANDINGS from the main scorekeeping menu. If no teams are displayed, or if the teams that are displayed are not correct, you can correct the list by selecting SCOREKEEPER UTILITIES and then ADD TEAM TO LEAGUE. To remove a team from your league, choose DELETE TEAM FROM LEAGUE. You will want to check for accuracy the personal information you originally submitted by selecting SCOREKEEPER UTILITIES and then EDIT PERSONAL INFO from the menu. This is the same screen you will use to change your password, which you should do from time to time. Please protect your password. Let's avoid chaos!! User IDs and Passwords are limited to 10 characters and are not case sensitive. You can use any combination of numbers and upper or lower case letters. To input a score, choose ADD A CONTEST RESULT. When the New Score input screen appears, you will see how easy it is to enter results. First, enter the date of the contest in the format shown (01/15/99, 11/02/99, etc.). Use the TAB key to move between fields. Select the first team and enter the score. If it was a league contest, select the second team and enter the score. (For league contests, it doesn't matter which team is TEAM 1 and which is TEAM 2. We are not tracking home and visitors.) For non-league contests, Select NON-LEAGUE in the look-up box for TEAM 2 and enter the name of the non-league team (use upper and lower case). Don't forget to enter the non-league score. When you're ready, click on the "Record Score" button. In a few seconds, you will receive a confirmation that the score was entered correctly and that the standings have been updated. If league teams play each other in a non-league contest, the results must be entered twice -- once with each team as TEAM 1. If you made a mistake along the way, you can DELETE A CONTEST RESULT and re-enter it. Other menu items under SCOREKEEPER UTILITIES include different sorts for listing scores and screens for entering/deleting league teams not listed correctly for your sport (don't add or delete after scores have been input). If for any reason, the standings don't seem to match the game results, select RECALCULATE STANDINGS. This will set all wins, losses and ties to zero and recalculate based on the contest results that have been input. We have setup a demo/practice league you can use also.
